What's Your Story?
Tell us a story!
Everyone has a story. We want to hear yours! We want to share as many stories from nannies as possible.
We are currently accepting stories on the following topics:
- lessons learned - hard or good lesson - how it impacted you or your career
- your Aha! moment
- Your nanny placement story - did you have an exceptional or unusual experience with an agency or finding a job on your own?
- Nannies who started in the 70’s and 80’s - how you got your start and your nanny job search experience
- Agencies who started their business in the 70's and 80's - how you started, lessons learned and how things have changed since you began business.
- Nannies who started in the 90's and 2000's
- Agencies who started their business in the 90's and 2000's - how you started, lessons learned and how things have changed since you began business.
Share your story
We'd love to share your story! Email us your story in any of the following categories and we may share on our site and social media.
- Stories should be no more than one page.
- Stories should not include names of children or employers.
- When submitting, please include what topic you are submitting for and if you would like to remain anonymous or have your name included.
- You can include a photo if you sign our photo release form.
- NHP reserves the right to edit for spelling, grammar, punctuation and length.
- Stories are personal. Please keep in mind how personal. Some may not be easy for children or employers to read. We offer the option to remain anonymous or include your name.
